Cm1000 speed slow down.

So I did several seaches on here and I found quite a few pages on the CM 1000 and how people can't get full bandwidth out of it, however these all seem to be in regards to gigabit internet. I currently have 200 mb/s so I'm assuming I shouldn't be having the same problem. My last Netgear modem was somewhat consistent in getting me in the 200 mbs range. However this one, straight out of the box gets me 70-80mbs and only 40mbs on wifi, so I'm not sure whats going on. I have a nighthawk router also. Any help with this would be great.

    As an update, I upgraded the service to 1 gigabyte and I'm still getting the exact same speed.

      You don't provide much info here.  Please cut-n-paste or provide a screenshot of your cable connection stats on the modem.  Hit 192.168.100.1 with a browser, login admin/password, then go to Basic -> Cable Connection.  I would be really interested to see how many downstream bonded channels are unlocked.
