[CM1000 to Orbi Tri-Band WiFi 5] internet disconnecting
I've had my equipment for 3 years now, and recently my internet intermittently drops. Coax internet and paying for 1Gig (though rarely see anything past 750MBps). Coax is single line to outside box (except connection point in house of course). When it's working, the whole setup is fast, but in the last couple of months it's quit. One more thing about my network, I've got an unmanaged switch with 5E cabling to different rooms (5 hardwired items) and about 26 items on WiFi. I've not taken apart the network to pinpoint the problem because the time between dropping could be days if not a couple of weeks. I think it's the modem because usually I can still log into the Orbi where it tells me there's no Internet. Any ideas?

If you think its the modem, a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs can help with it.
When it happens next time, write down when it happens and get the logs as well. then we can compare the logs with when it happens to see if there's any notices.
What fixes the problem?
- TinkeringtjAspirantTypically I simply shut down my entire rack for a minimum of 60 seconds. This morning, I did 10 minutes. My wife has an idea, but I'm not sure how or if I even want to tackle it. The coax line to the house from the outdoor box is probably (not even sure) 25+ years old and the line in the house might be the same. Sure, next time it dies I'll do more digging. I appreciate the quick response! Honestly wish it would die soon just to appease my curiosity.

You can screen snip the cable connections page and logs now. It still gives us an idea of how your line connection is.
