CM1000 Upstream Light Keeps Turning Amber

Hello all,

I've been trying for weeks to resolve an issue with a Netgear ADT Hub. ADT has been out several times to no avail. I've tried everything but can't seem to locate the problem. The only network component I haven't changed out is my Netgear CM1000 modem. I have noticed that there are periods of time when the upstream light is solid amber. Most of the time it is green, but I am wondering if this issue may be contributory.

A quick glance at the manual suggests this indicates that only ONE upstream channel locked but indicates this is WNL. Could this be contibuting to my ADT Hub problem? If so, can anyone suggest a possible solution?

Thanks!

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page. <- done, upstream status light is green at the moment.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly. <- check
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. <- check
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. <- check, including drop line.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON. <- done for 3" at a time (more than once during troubleshooting).

Could you explain the potential issues associated with only locking one upstrem channel?

        Interesting.

Firmware lised for my CM1000-1AZNAS for my ISP: V3.01.04

        My firmware: V6.01.07

Does the ISP push these down? If not, how else could I have gotten there if I didn't do it myself?

        Thanks!
