CM1100
Can I use this modem if I do not have a coax line for internet? My current set up uses all ethernet connections. I am trying to get rid of the all in one modem and router provided by the internet company and go with a separate modem and router setup

How does your current all in one modem and router provided by the internet company connect to the internet? Via Ethernet does not sound quite right.
What is the brand name and model number of this all in one modem and router? Look on the label.

The CM modem is a modem only, no built in router. Its designed to be used with Cable ISP services. Does not work with DSL or Fiber ISP services.
