CM1150 - ethernet ports on the back
Should all 4 ports work on the back of the modem? When I spoke to technical support at Netgear they said only one would work at a time. When I spoke to Comcast, they said all 4 should work. Who is right? The wi-fi is Linksys Velop and is plugged into one of the four ports on the modem, and it works fine (out of any of the 4 ports). But when I plug my computer directly into the modem, the computer can't ever connect to the internet. I have to plug my computer ethernet cord into the back of the wi-fi pod.

Thank you, you were veryhelpful!!
Only one port will work. It's really not abig deal for me since the wi-fi node has two on the back of it.
I appreciate the reply! Have a great week!

If you need additional ethernet ports, you can install a non managed ethernet switch for additional ports, they make them from 5 to 48 ports units.
Good Luck.
