Thanks. Was really teh power on OFMD that I'm aiming at and trying to get it down. I'll be trying the passive and will post later on the change results. There's some overnight changes in the power levels (better early morning when cool vs. hot afternoons). That data was also based on less than a day operations since a reboot, so the error levels were much lower than just before I last rebooted.
I will push back on comcast, but given that 3x they've said a tech would call & they haven't, and I've bitched about it before and they say the signal is okay, and power at lower end but within their spec for an end of the line customer (?!?) I'm resorting to self help ;>

The ofdm channel is out of spec. If you pay for gigabit, that's what I'd push back on them about.
