CM1200 Downlink light blinking
Hi All,
Ive searched the previous threads for how others who have encountered similar issue-- and it appears everyone has a different solution. My ISP (Optimum) unfourtunately claim they cannot help me as I am using my own modem (CM1200). My Nighthawk is not even 2 weeks old, and I do not recall a single time the downstream light was solid.
What I have noticed is my internet speed will go from ~500Mbps Down, and drop randomly to not even 1Mbps. I went ahead and took some screenshots of the info listed in my CM1200 admin pannel and logs. Any help is greatly appreciated as I wait for Optimum to come and send a technician out.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.

Like FURRYe38 says, check your line.
It could be something internal to the home like splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators. Or a bad/cheap/old/damaged cable.
But your signal is hobble. Your channels should be within 3.5dbmv of each other. You're going from -12dbmv to +2.3dbmv.
Your signal also has a bunch of errors. So check the line internal to your home and if the signal doesn't get better, the ISP needs to check it.

Thanks, I will reach out to the ISP and have them come out and take a look. I am still learning on how to properly read and understand the details of upstream and downstream channels
