I know I know. I started out on a 14.4 dialup modem. I think I still have it somewhere. Ah the good ole days. :smileyvery-happy:

PAC Bell 486 running windows 3.1 with a tv card. Was the prime computer of the time! Needless to say I’m trying to reduce lag as much as possible, and would love if this had a octacore processor to handle the processing of high amounts of traffic. 😂

I had a 286, mono card and two 20Mb HDDs.
The CM1100 is a good modem. I love the dual WAN ports. It allows me to have two routers connected. The CAX80 does as well. :smileyvery-happy:

I wondered if the CM1200 on another ISP would allow the other ports to be enabled. I have a 1200 as well but didn't get a chanced to try the other ports. I know the CM1100 and CAX80 work on Sparklight.

On xfinity, the cm1100 and the arris sb8200 both didn't allow more than 1 ip address (more than 1 router) to be used.
- flynhawaiianAug 07, 2020StarI think in business class they allow you to get multiple ip addresses.

Thats mostly how it's handled. My ISP doesn't seem to care here. :smileyvery-happy:
