What is the name brand and model number of the router you have connected to your CM3000?

Your input/output Ethernet ports are rated at 1 Gbps. In real life you should see a maximum somewhere between 900 to 940 Mbps either via a wired connection or Wi-Fi.
If you stay with that hardware, you are leaving a lot of $ on the table each month paying Comcast for any speed tier above 1 Gbps.

Do you recommend a Netgear mesh system that will attain speeds above the 1Gb threshold? You need to find a router with a 2.5 Gbps input port and connect it to your CM3000 with a Cat 6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) Ethernet cable.
There is a good Q/A start point for Netgear Mesh systems here: https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/mesh/
The start point is a button that says Find Your Orbi Mesh System on the upper left side of the page.
