CM3000 upload speeds capped at 100Mbps with XFINITY GIGABIT X2

Hi all,

I have a weird issue with my cm3000. It's running the latest FW according to netgear.  I subscribe to Xfinity Gigabit x2.  I am getting only 100Mbps on upload.  I used to get 300+Mbps.  We had a power outage a while back.  My modem is on a UPS and didn't lose power.  We also experience an extended Xfinity outage due to vandalism.  I had the xfinity tech come out and he tested from the coax and the speeds were normal. We plugged the modem back in and ran a speed test from a laptop and uploads still at about 100Mbps. We factory reset the CM3000.  Had them reprovision it and still 100Mbps.  I let the xfinity tech go since he proved the line was good to his test set. I reinstalled my CM2050V.  It downloaded the new firmware and my upload and download speeds are back to normal.

Could there be an internal issue with the CM3000 due to power spike and being on possible ups back up and/or an issue with xfinity provisioning it wrong??

The CM3000 is still under hardware warranty (about 90 days left.) Should I just RMA it?

Current speedtest from the Orbi 960.

TIA

After having reinstalled the CM2050V (great that it's back to full uploads), I'd try the CM3000 one more time. It wouldn't be the first time it was "reprovisioned" by a tech and wasn't done right.  If it doesn't work, I'd exchange it. But if the cm2050V is working and giving full speeds, you're all ready maxing out the speeds of your line. Great to have a backup though.
