CM400 Firmware

Anyone know how to update your firmware to the latest version when you can't connect to your ISP because the firmware is too out of date? After 3 hours on the phone with Time Warner, I'm guessing I'm just going to have to throw this modem out and start over.

Please post your event log from the GUI.

what FW do you have on the device now?

TimeWarner (AKA Spectrum now), should automatically push new FW.

My CM400 is MY modem, not the ISP's (Spectrum), and it is not updated to the version 1.01.20 specified on the Netgear/support page and chart. My current version is 1.01.19, and I do not want to give them admin rights anyway. Anyone know what "TNO" means? Impossible of course, in the end you gotta trust someone. But I think by purchasing a modem from a store, I am owed the ability to manually update its firmware. Apparently I am wrong.
