CM500-100NAS upstream channels
So I currently have my CM500 upgraded to the newest firmware, and all 4 of the upload channels are showing if im directly contacted to the modem without the router, which is a WNDR3400v3, also up to date with the latest firmware. But when I have the modem connected to the router, it only has 2 out of the 4 upload channels. Currently not really having issues, but just wanted to know if there is some sort of reasoning behind this as I could not find anything via googling. Thank you ahead of time for the replies!
check what is your upstream power. If you are at edge, you will loose Upstream channels and get into partial service.
Or it could be noise in your coax line causing this issue but generally it is power which is major cause.
