CM500 Keeps Losing Connection
Hi all,
I was reading through threads pertaining to similar issues. After a bit of researching, I think have a good feel for common issues in the downstream/upstream channels areas and believe all of mine are in range. However I haven't been able to make heads or tails of the event logs and am hopeful someone can help me make sense of what my issue may be. I have included screenshots of the log and channels.
-sidenote: I visually inspected the coaxial cable in the house, which has no apparent damage. Outside I traced the cable from where it comes in on the utility pole up until it goes underneath the house and could not find any visually apparent damage. If the line is damaged it would be underneath the house, and it is night time currently so I did not go underneath to inspect. The only thing I saw, that I see commonly mentioned in the threads, is the line from the pole is connected to a "3.5dB USTCH-02 2 way splitter". The 2 cables on the other end of this splitter then run underneath and into the house. I am not aware of where the 2nd cable is going, because only one of the cables physically comes into the house through the port.
Any help is greatly appreciated, even if it is just telling me that I need a tech from my ISP to come out and replace the line.
Thanks!

The splitter is there as I used to have cable tv & internet services through my ISP, now just internet. I did end up finding where the second coaxial cable from the splitter comes into the house. - FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Power levels look ok however you have some Errors and Criticals that the ISP needs to look into.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure all fittings and jacks are fully tightened.
