CM500 modem N600/wndr3700v3 router

I can only connect to my ISP for 1 minute, before no connection. I reset everything, I get another minute. Etc. etc. etc. My ISP is communicating with the CM 500 modem. There seems to be a communication problem post modem. My N600 router was working fine with my previous docsis2 motorola modem. Do I need to reset my router in any way?

    Hello LGmodemrouter

     

    Do you have a splitter on the cable line connected to the modem if so try to remove it and see if the modem will connect. Also like you said you can try to do a factory reset on the modem by holding the reset button down for 10 seconds.
