CM500 Modem to NETGEAR WNR2000v5 No Wireless Connectivity
Hello so I have a 2nd Hand CM500 Netgear modem, that is connect through xffinity it works hard wired to my laptop, But it will not connect to my NETGEAR WNR2000v5 router that i own for years and i know it works. I tried the routerlogin.net and com no success. Also tried writing the IP address into by browser nothing. I Called Netgear and no one wants to help just adament to take money, rathe rthan work me through the steps that i may can fix myself.
I have no wifi to any device

THe WNR router is EOL and would probably be a bottle neck with your modem. I recommend getting into a newer generation router.
