Where do I find the network security key?

what network security key are you looking for?&nbsp;
The cm500 is a modem only device. It doesn't have wifi and has very basic gui in you log in and view.&nbsp;
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc. Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above. Its a great resource to start with.

Thats the modem's model number

Hello jdebery,&nbsp;I understand that you have questions about the NETGEAR modem model number and its capabilities.&nbsp;Network security keys are associated with wireless technologies. Since modems do not have this technology it does not contain a security key. However, it does have a graphical interface in which you will have to log in using a user name and password.&nbsp;&nbsp;The information listed below will assist you with your CM500 modem:&nbsp;1. Log in credentials:&nbsp;

Open your internet browser and type in: 192.168.100.1.

&nbsp;

In the login screen use the following credentials:

&nbsp;

The user name is admin.

&nbsp;

The default password is password.

&nbsp;
2. Product model number:
&nbsp;

The model number of your device is CM500.&nbsp;

&nbsp;
(Once you logged&nbsp;into the modem using the credentials mentioned above, check the top left of the home screen. It should say CM500).&nbsp;
