CM600 Firmware downgrade

I switched from Spectrum to RCN. Spectrum upgraded my modem to V1.01.14, and now that I am on RCN, the modem will not work. Per this document:

Spectrum and "All Other ISPs" have different versions. Therefore, I think this is why my modem isn't working with RCN. How do I get this resolved? 

 

I contacted RCN and they couldn't help, because Netgear hasn't released the version to them yet.

      I have a similar problem but with Grande Communications in Texas. It looks like spectrum has a newer firmware and a factory reset isn't removing those updates... Any advice?
