CMD31T - 100NAS Amber US 1/2 light solid on

On my CMD31T Modem today I discovered the US, DS, and online lights orange. In resetting the modem by hitting the reset button and powering it off for 30 seconds - the ONLINE light turned green, as well as the DS lights. 

 

However, the US 1/2 stays orange and I presume the 3/4 light would be - currently it does not show either orange or green.

 

For the last five months (when I got this modem) I have had problems, andTime Warner Cable has replaced both the cable running to my house and the cable under the house that connects to this modem. 

 

Any suggestions on how to fix permanently fix this? Does the modem need to be replaced?

 

I have not seen any downloadable firmware for this modem on the Netgear website, and the Time Warner techs are stating they have done everything they can do - and the problem is with the modem?

 

Side Note: this modem connects to a Windows 10 desktop.

    The only 2 things that could be causing this is a bad connection from the ISP or the modem is faulty its kinda hard to say unless your able to get ahold of another modem like from the isp to test and see if it will stay online.

      Thanks for your reply.   

       

      I tend to believe it is the modem.  I have another modem from the ISP that I use for my home phone and it never has problems.

       

      The problem my netgear modem is experiencing is inconsistent. Hours after submitting this post, I powered off the modem for several hours and ever since I turned it back on, it's been working okay.  

       

      Yet, I've seen this before. This same identical problem has been appearing and disappearing for several months.
