Comcast Service, IP Phone, R7000 netgear disonnecting every 10 minutes

Question

Just switch from Comcast Business to Comcast Residential.&nbsp; Didn't want to rent the Comcast box so I purchased a Nighthawk R7000 cable modem device.&nbsp; Now my IP phone will disconnect like clock work every 10.5 minutes.&nbsp; Help!

[...]&gt; Model: R7000P|Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Dual Band Gigabit Router&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; An R7000 is not an R7000P, and neither of them is a "cable modemdevice."&nbsp; What is the actual model number on the product label on yourdevice?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,and look for Documentation.&nbsp; Get the User Manual.&nbsp; Read.&nbsp; Return here(or to some appropriate forum) with the actual model number.&nbsp; Thefirmware version might also be helpful.&nbsp;&gt; Please post about this here for your model router: [...]&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Of course, the value of that advice depends on exactly what yourdevice is.&nbsp; (But the accompanying animated icon is very annoying in anycase.)
