Configuration

Hello All

Apologies if this has been answered previously.

I have just bought an AC750 Wifi Modem Router.  Not the model listed above - I could not find my model

I have a Mac Laptop.

I have a telstra ADSL Line.

I have followed the instructions - and I assume 'configured' the internet as required via routerlogin.net as described on the instructions.

I have got both the ethernet and the wireless to connect, but am having drop outs - everytime I turn my computer off and on.  The modem shows there is an internet signal and the wifi is on, and both the ethernet and wifi are not being picked up by my computer.

I then have to go back and 'configure' it again - and it works.

Can anyone please help?

Apologies if this is a dumb question!!

  • This could be a firmware related problem or just a configuration setting.

The model number can be found on the sticker at the bottom of the unit.

When you say drop outs, is it disconnecting from the Internet even on wired connection or just the wireless?

Perhaps you need the correct Encapsulation settings from your ISP and set the Connection Mode as "Always On".
