connect 2 Netgear switches to Netgear Router RN8500
I have a Netgear RN8500 Router, and Netgear Prosafe Switch FS108NA.
I'm wanting to buy another Switch.
Right now the router is connected to the Switch, ReadyNAS, Desktop, Laptop, Dish, & Roku.
My switch is full with Rokus, TV, Dish Joeys, External HD (these are rarely used, 1 person house)
.
Can I connect 2 Switches direct to the RN8500 Router and it work perfect?
.
Which Switches would be best?

Yes.

Switches are pretty much all the same. Any name-brand Gigabit switch will work.

Thanks. I just ordered (1) to repalce my old 108 (lightening knocked out 2 of its ports.
and I ordered (1) as a 2nd switch which will be strung about 40 feet into my living room.
thanks again.
