Connecting to a Solaredge InverterC7000 v2

I have an inverter that is part of roof mounted solar panel system. The inverter has a communication card that allows monitoring of the inverter in real time through a web browser. I had it connected to a wireless router made by D-Link using an ethernet cable routed to a LAN port on the back of the D-link wireless router. I recently switched internet service providers (Century Link to SuddenLink) and also changed to a Netgear C7000v2 router and cable modem. I plugged my ethernet cable from my Solaredge inverter into the Netgear C7000v2 and can't get them to establish communication. The inverter display reads "LAN DISCONNECTED". I'm assuming the p4 ports for ethernet  on the back of the Netgear C7000v2 can accept an ethernet cable streaming data. A ny suggestions of what could be wrong?

Do other wired devices connect to the back of the modem and work?

Be sure that the devices is using a auto obtain IP addressing configuration, not a static IP.

Be sure your LAN cable between this devices and the modem is in good working condition. CAT6 is recommended.
