Devices Not Connecting To 2.4ghz

 

Model - C6300BD AC1900

 

I purchased this router today and while the 5.0 ghz works just fine so does the 2.4ghz with most devices.  However I have one device that will connect to the 2.4ghz while the option is encrypted.  Unfortunately that device can't connect to 5ghz.

 

What do I need to do to fix this?  I have firmware version 

V2.04.06

 

 

I tried to update my firmware, but I don't even have that option when I login as the documentation suggests.  Any thoughts here?

    Hello trader98

     

    Does the device have a 5 Ghz wireless card in it may only be able to use 2.4 ghz.

      No, I'm not able to see the 5ghz at all.  I see 2.4 and can connect if I turn off encryption.
