disable modem in C7000
I would like to disable the router in my AT&T cable modem/router and use the router from my C7000 for both wired Ethernet and WiFi. In the past I had an ISP where I could use this device as my modem...
I dont think you can do it. Modem is always active.
what you possibily do (not verified or suppoorted by NTGR) the have ATT in Router mode and Switch off WIFI and connect C7000 (with DHCP mode disabled.) via LAN cable, and just use WIFI portion of it.
