Factory reset N300 WIFI Cable Modem Router and now cannot access internet via browser

IMy Internet provider issues me a static IP address, when I changed to this router, I forgot to enter that.  Tried today only to find the original numbers they gave me had changed so it would not let the router connect to the Internet.  After some struggles, I did a factory reset on the router and got Internet access back via the router, but now I cvannot get into the router login to enter the correct static IP or do anything.  Router is working and hae Internet access, but says cannot access router interface and / or not on the routers network.  Am OK I guess with service but would like to be able to use my static IP address and any other things the interface allow.

    Hello BruceBeam

You will want to open a command prompt on your PC by going to your run bar and typing CMD hit enter then in the black box type ipconfig hit enter then find the ip address beside default gateway then use that Ip to get into your router.

If you happen to be one of those "bleeding edge" users of Windows 10, you may have lost the Command Prompt. (Microsoft is removing it in favour of Powershell, which you can also use to run IPConfig.)

Another way to get where you want is through Open network in Explorer, then look at the Network infrastructure bit, right click and then View device web page.
