Failure to have access to my own Modem/Router
The past week or so, I have been experiencing interruptions with my internet. The modem turns off and restarts without any notice/change on my end. Called my service provider and they stated it was the modem. After doing a search online, I am working to find a solution to the answer per my Netgear modem. When going on the website, I tried accessing my modem, http://192.168.1.1/, and nothing comes up. I cleared my caches with no luck and wanted to ask the community here if there were other solutions to this and whether I can diagnose what is going on per my issue
Thanks.

Whats the model# of your modem you have? C, CAX or CM series?
Can you access 192.168.100.1 any with a wired PC and web browser?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

Thanks. It would be helpful for you to identify the specific model number of your device. Look on the label if you need to.
It is very convenient for the service provider to blame the hardware owned by the end user. Less effort on their part and they can push for you to rent something from their inventory. A win win situation from their point of view.
What computer, mobile device, or web browser are you using to access your router?
