FCM1100 : Frequent disconnect from internet with Optimum using Netgear CM1100 modem.
I am facing issues of frequent disconnects. From last 2 months I was facing lower speeds, 30Mbps or less on a plan of 300Mbps but upload spped is intact. I contacted Optimum and they told to contact modem manufacturer. I checked logs and found some warnings which are following. My modem is just few months old. Please let me know how to fix this issue.
I also observed that modem clock is 1 hour behind.
In case this issue is related to power in the line, is there any chances it can burn the device.
Firmware Version V2.01.02
ISP: Optimum, NJ

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

its not happening anymore. I had and old splitter and used it instead of directly connection modem to wall.
