HELP - Netgear C3000 as strictly a wireless router
I've tried searching and have not been able to find an answer. We currently have TimeWarner cable with a Motorola Modem connected to a simple Linksys Wireless Router. Our linksys wireless router gave out and we were given a brand new Netgear N300 WiFi Cable Modem Router. Model:C3000.
My question is: Is it possible to use it strictly as a wireless router? In other words can I connect my Motorola modem to it via ethernet cable and have it bradcast like the linksys did?
I've tried connecting the motorola modem's ethernet cable into one of the netgear's ethernet ports but it did not work.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Judging from the manual, I do not think you can use the C3000 strictly as an Access Point.
