HELP CM1000V2 Offline
Yesterday when I wasn't home the network went offline at 1:30pm (I received a text notification that my Blink cameras were offline). I got home at 5:00pm and the internet was down. The modem had flashing green power, flashing amber everything else except last network light solid amber.
I did power cycles on modem and router, checked wires, checkd outdoor wiring and all lookd fine. I contacted Cox who stated they had no issues. They said they would send a tech to check the signal. This morning I checked in to see what time.
They said they sent a tech to check wiring to the home and it is all good last night (which I don't really believe)
My 90 days of support with Netgear ended 6 days ago (brought the modem on May 2)
Contacted Cox again and they said I would have to pay for a tech since it is not their issue and they cant come for 5 days. Dont want to pay and also cant really wait 5 days since my wife works from home.
My modem toast?
Should I buy a new one?
Feel really irriatted since it is essentially brand new.
I was renting a Cox Panoramic until May 2 when it suddenly went offline in a real similar fashion.Since my wife works from home and we couldnt wait for a Cox tech so we just went out and bought the netgear router and modem and now that is offline

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. If a tech is needed, please have the tech check.
Have the ISP resent the config file to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Try a factory reset on the modem. Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release.
If nothing seems to correct this problem, you may need a new modem.
