How can I open port 80
My modem is CM500V-1staus. I can port forward to any other port, but not port 80. I called optus, they said they only block port 25. Does anyone know how to open port 80? It works at my lapto...
CM500V-1STAUS is a bridged modem. It has capability to block the ports unless Optus themselves blocks using docsis L2 or L3 filters or firewalls.
I meant "It has NO capability" ..
you might to check with Optus as this is specific product customized for Optus according to their requirements.
also, test with device directly connected behind CM.

I'm having the exact same issue - same modem, also Optus, all other pots working inbound except port 80. Optus & Netgear sending me in circles.
