How do I hook up phone line
I'd like to know if there is a work-around for this, like a VOIP adapter perhaps? I have cellular only phone service but my ISP has a landline phone number delegated to me. I need to have a landline ...

There are two methods to provision a "land line" over internet:
- Most Internet Service Providers (especially cable companies like Comcast, Xfinity, etc.) can provide a modem that also has a telephone jack that can accommodate a regular "telephone". In my case, I have connected a Panasonic hub that supports wireless handsets. It is simply an ordinary telephone jack. Spectrum does not charge a monthly fee for the modem (because I pay a monthly fee to have the telephone service).
- Subscribe to a Voice over Internet Provider - VOIP -such as one of these: https://learn.g2.com/best-voip-providers
This requires a VOIP device to be connected to the local network.
Personally, it seems to me that a modem compatible with ISP voice service is the obvious solution.
