How View log of Cable Modem(192.168.110.1) from my (LAN 192.168.0.1)?

My internet keeps dropping out.  Id like to view the log of the cable modem a Netgear CM500 from my laptop on my LAN 192.168.0.1.   How do I access the cable modem whos address is 192.168.100.1?

The cable modem is out of the LANs routers assigned address range and I cannot set the router to go out of 192.168.0.1.

Can you help?

Your LAN subnet is on the 192.168.0.0/24  subnet, the router (or for the sake the PC) are on the .1 address.

Either way, the 192.168.100.1 address is outside of the local LAN subnet, the router will forward the 192.168.100.1 to it's WAN interface, where the computer is able to reach the cable modem on its 192.168.100.1 address.

Unless you are using ridiculously strict security appliance, there is noting that blocks e.g. the http connection from the LAN to the WAN/Internet side of the router.

Changing the modem management IP address to an address in the LAN subnet would not allow to reach - because it's not direct attached  to your LAN.

So to change the Modem address I need to connect it directly to my laptop and from the laptop enter 192.168.110.1 then if successful getting into the modem, then change the address of the modem to something withing 192.168.0.2 to 255 right?  Then I could see the log from my laptop over the LAN.  Is this correct?

No. Just open a Web browser and call http://192.168.100.1/ RT*M CM500 High Speed Cable Modem User Manual p.13 Log In to the Cable Modem

        '===

To log in to the cable modem:

        1. Launch a web browser from a computer that is attached over an Ethernet cable to the
cable modem or from a computer that is connected to a WiFi router that is attached over an
Ethernet cable to the cable modem.
        2. Type http://192.168.100.1.
          A login screen displays.
        3. Enter the cable modem user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and
          password are case-sensitive.
          The BASIC Home screen displays

        ...

Your CM500 Modem is not on the same network (LAN)! It's on the WAN port.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

This is a little bit difficult of the OP thinks he can't, and it requires to change the Modem admin IP to a LAN IP before.
