Issue with factory reset button

Talked to tech support today. We tried to factory reset multiple times. Went to the login site still, modem still did not reset. The technician said the reset button is faulty. How I don’t even press on the button. Now I have buy a new modem. It’s a nighthawk AX2700 (CAX80) is there a way to reset it?

    Can you log into the CAX80s web page at all? 

     

    Pressing the reset button, there should be bump feel when it's pressed in.

    Is this CAX80 new?

    A couple things. 

    1. is it connected to your isp? IF so, they can remote reset it
    2. You can log in via the browser and reset it from within the browser. 
    3. why do you think you need to reset it?
