Just purchased model CG3000DV2. Internet working on my computer, but I cannot connect more devices
My compputer is working with the modem/router and I have internet access. Cannot connect cell phone, Amazon Fire tablet and Echo Dot. Keep getting "authentication error" message on each device.

Hello rewolf4
Have you gone into the wifi settings and changed the SSID the security type to WPA2 and the password?

I have changed the password and the SSID. Am still getting "Authentication Error" on all three devices. Computer works fine.

Hello rewolf4
I would try to factory reset the modem and setup the wireless. Also did you have a router before the CG3000DV2 and are using the same SSID if so you may need to go to your devices and tell them to forget the network and reconnect.

I thought that might be the case, I travel between AZ and CA. I have a separate modem/router combo in AZ and an all in one modem/router in CA which I just purchased. The three devices work in AZ but not in CA. I use Cox in both places. If I reprogram the CA modem/router and carry it back & forth, will that work? Thanks
