Life span of C7000??

Any idea on lifespan of this unit? I am at 2 years 3 months and it is starting to cut out, meaning loss of wireless. Power cycling helps now and then. About ready to replace it. Is the Version 2 better. Help and advice appreciated by this newby.

    What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
    Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

     

    Have you factory reset the modem and set it up from scratch? 

    Try placing a USB laptop cooler under the modem to keep it cooler.
