Looking for a modem router for a large home.

I need something like this but for DLS not Cable. How big is your home? Multi story?&nbsp; When you say modem router you mean modem/router combo? Usually those routers has inferior performance but one way you can use it in conjuction with free standing router is using the free standing one as an AP and let the modem attached router do the DHCP job. It all depends what you want to do but trying to cover a big house with one router is asking bit too much. Do you have good experience and knowledge in networking?
