Loss of home wi-fi newwork
Have CG3000D modem/router for 4 years. WiFi connection was just my default (network) setting which appeared when I connected the unit. Last week, after the Cox cable repairman left I no longer had the default network. Cox couldn't help and directed me to netgear. Netgear said that they couldn't help unless I paid a minimum of $89.99. Tried resetting the box without success. Does anyone have a suggestion?.

Hello Hardworker
To get it back to the default you just need to do a factory reset by holding the reset button for 10 seconds.

Hello Harworker
Do you have a pc connect via ethernet? if so bring up a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 should prompt you to log in and use admin/password to login after that go to the wireless settings and you should be able to change the name and password of the wireless.
