Model C3700v2

I have a C3700v2. I am having a problem connecting to my network. I have had Xfifnity out three times, my lines are ok, I live in a RV park and am using cable connection. I hooked directly to the pedastil where the cable comes in and could not get the internet, I brought it inside my RV and got the internet but my download and upload leds flashed and never locked in. Any other things I can try? Thank you in advance.

Be sure the coax cable is RG6 and not RG59.

Have the ISP or someone at the RV park check the signals at this pedistal and from with in your RV with the modem connected.

Thank you for the info, I had the signal checked at the pedistal and inside the RV, could never make it work. Went to Xfinity and got one of their modems and it worked inside right away. Called Netgear and told them my problem and they said it may be a bad modem. Of course whoever I talked to at Netgear probably had no idea what could have been wrong but just gave me an answer. Thanks for the advice..

If a different modem works and the NG doesn't, possible the NG modem is faulty.
