Modem froze

Today I walked in my home and realized there was no internet connection. Looked at my router and realized there are no lights in the front. But the lights in the back where you plug in the Ethernet cords are all lit up solid. I tried to reset and all. Held it down for many seconds. Nothing? Do you think it’s probably no good anymore? Should I buy another one?

  • I’m sorry modem. Not router. Well it’s a modem and wireless router as well.

When you reset, try and hold the reset button for up to 30 seconds. Make sure the coax is unplugged.

You can also try a 30/30/30 reset.

Push reset for 30 seconds while powered on

power off while still holding reset for 30 seconds

power back on while still holding reset for 30 seconds.

If that doesn't work, the device might be fubar'd
