Modem Router is in Constant Reboot

I have Xfinity with an SB7 Advance Modem/Router and I decided to enable bridge Mode on the Comcast Modem.  This way I could use my C7800 as a Wi-Fi router.  However, after a while my C7800 Nighthawk device started rebooting.  Now, I cannot use my c7800 because it is constantly rebooting.  What can I do?

    The C7800 doesn't have a router only mode. 

    Why not get rid of the xfinity box entirely and just go with the c7800?

      Thank you for your advise!  I will get rid off the Comcast modem but I first need to get the rebooting problem resolve in my Netgear.

        connect the coax to c7800 so it can start initializing. Some combo devices won't go through the full boot sequence if its not connected to an cable connection (with link)
