modem seems to lose sync
my router seems to lose sync many times a day. i can get online with chrome and it connects good, but when i switch pages it's gone. service comes back in about 2 minutes, and may work great for the rest of the session, or might be gone again. there's no set pattern to it. i just got off the phone with xfinity support and he says the service is good to my modem, but i'm not getting the full servive i'm supposed to get (blast up to 150m, i'm only getting 48m). this modem is fairly new (within a year and half) and has worked great. he also said there may be a setting that needs to be set in the modem ( don't know why, no settings have changed). thanks in advance for the help

the c6300 should be good up to 275mbps on xfinity. The techs frequently say things are good when they're not.
Do you have a screen shot of your connections page for your modem? Include the upstream and downstream connections.
Also try removing any splitters, amplifiers, 90 degree elbows, and check your wires for corrosion, kinks, water damage.
