N300 WiFi Cable Modem Router Model C3000
I am trying to connect my My Cloud External Storage Device and was told by Western Digitl that I needed to contact someone online mainly http://routerlogin.net because that is the address listed on the bottom of my router. For some reason, I am not able to access that site.
Xfinity my IP said I need to get what is called an "acception on Firewall" in order for the storage device to work properly. Can anyone offer help regarding this situation? Has anybody heard of such a thing?

That is not a "site" out in the internet, it is a local address that you use to get at the "control centre" for your
C3000. Just use any browser to go there.
If you read the:
N300 WiFi Cable Modem Router Model C3000 Quick Start Guide
you'll see that you can also try
(Sometimes it is http://192.168.1.1.)
As I understand it, you want to connect the My Cloud External Storage Device to your network. This looks like a USB device. You can find details of how to use USB devices with this modem/router in the full manual:
