N450 WIFI MODEM ROUTER RANDOM DISCONNECT ISSUE

used this rouiter for couple of months now and since around two weeks ago, I have noticed that the wifi and internet connections drops 2-3 random times throughout the day.  I have to manually unplug and plug the power back in to the route to make it work again.  I have tried changing the channel on wifi and still the same issue.  

 

I searched on this post and it seems like lot of others with similar modems are having the same issue.

 

Please let me know what needs to be done to fis this dropping issue?

  • I have this problem as well.  Brand new modem and installation.

     

    I hope this isn't another squirrly Netgear product.

      Have you tried to lower the speed on the wireless to see if that makes it more stable.

        So your modem is such a piece of crap I can't run it at the speed I need/want?

         

        Instead I've got to downgrade it to a lesser-quality product?

         

        It's going back tomorrow.  Not a very good way to run a company and keep your job.
