N600- 2.4 GHz band completely nonfunctional, 5 GHz works fine
I bought this unit in March of 2015. About two months ago, my devices would fail to connect to the typical 2.4GHz band. All of my devices connected just fine to the 5GHz band, which is still the case. Not sure if this matters, but at any given point I have around 8-9 devices connected wirelessly to the router, with 2-3 "actively" operating at any given time.
Not sure if this will help diagnose, but what I have found to consistenly crash the 2.4GHz band and disconnect ALL devices connected to it is when I update apps on my iPhone.
I have reset the unit to factory conditions, and changed the channel from 6 to 8- nothing at all has worked. Does this seem like a radio failure? Any other suggestions?

Hello scomp23
This could be a issue with the 2.4ghz band you may try to lower the speed under the mode option in the wireless settings and see if that correct anything. If you do believe it failed you may want to contact support if the modem is under warranty.

Thanks Darren- I appreciate the info. Is it not somewhat odd that this occured 20 months after I purchsed the unit, when the 2.4GHz band worked perfectly prior to that?
