N600 C3700 Slow Wifi

I have the N600 C3700 Modem Router. I use Comcast for internet (Blast) and get about 90 Mbps wired and 7-15 Mbps over wifi. I have updated firmware (V2.02.08), factory resetted (several times), changed channels, and even had a Comcast tech out to my house. Any other suggestions would ge greatly appreciated.

    Hello PaulaJayoh

Have you tested the wifi speed on more than 1 device? also do you have a old wifi device that only uses 802.11B? really old devices if connected can slow the whole network down.

I also have a N600 C3700 Cable Modem / Wireless Router.  Connected via RJ45 cable - superfast.  WiFi - completely different story.  I downloaded Acrylic WiFi Home and it registers a WiFi strength of -60 (weak) and I am in the same room.  Guest level is -67 (slightly better, but still poor).  The 5G level is -72.  Again, I am less than 8 foot from the wireless router.  I am puzzled as my Printer is showing -54 (good).  It doesn't take far for the WiFi signal to be come unusable.

It is pretty annoying that I bought this Cable Modem/Wireless Router less than 2 years ago and Netgear wants me to pay $49.95 just to talk to someone to determine if the unit has gone bad.  I am extremely disappointed by the poor WiFi signal (and I have tried almost every differnt channel with no increase in signal strength.  Is there anything I can do besides buying a new one (and it won't be a Netgear if that is the case - it would have been much cheaper to rent one from Comcast).  Any help?
