Mostly around 60mbps. I sent the router back and got a new one. When I plugged it in and got it set up, I got ONE reading of 160mbps and then it dropped again. Seems very very random when the speed is higher than 60, but never above 80.

Have you tried to adjust the wireless channel in the wireless settings? also do you have a older wifi device that connects to your network?

I have consulted with my business IT guys and worked through different
channel options with no improvement.
No older devices on the network, all iPhone 5s or better and G or N PC wifi
devices. Issue of wifi speed is the worst on 2.4 network, but typically
cripples both 2.4 and 5 ghtz down to 1 or 2 mbps at random times throughout the day.- DarrenMMar 30, 2016Sr. NETGEAR Moderator
Do you have Time Warner cable? if so I do know there is a new firmware that is being certified for the c3700 so it should be coming out soon but I do have a ETA on this.
