Having the same issues - and Comcast has been zero help. I have the Blast, getting 92mpbs at the modem. Wifi 2.4 ranges from .8 (that's less than 1) to 19mbps. Stupidly slow. The interesting thing is that I was on Wave previously, and had zero issues with reliability. This seems to be all over the map.
I've changed the channels from auto to 11, turned off the 5ghz ssid, connection is STILL at times without any activity.
