NAT Type issues Nighthawk AC1900

So I got a nighthawk modem router to upgrade from my older router. Ever since starting to use this new(er) router i have been having NAT type issues across all platforms. I was able to "resolve" the issue on the laptopbut its only resolved when connected ethernet which has become a bit daunting to deal with if i want to move around to a different room.

i have tried both uPnP and Port forwarding but nothing seems to be resolving the issue and nothing seems to be opening up my NAT or the ports at this point.

if anyone is able to point me in the direction to a permanent solution via WiFi that would be perfect

What devices are you seeing problems with NAT type on?

Has a facory reset and setup from scratch been performed and just use default settings with out any Port Fowarding?

Did you disable uPnP prior to configuring Port Foward configurations?

How did you set up Port Foward Configurations?

Do you see NAT Filter feature menu listed on the modems web page under Advanced tab/Setup/Wan Setup?

i have tried with and without uPnP, i dont see any NAT filters anywhere unless im looking in the wrong spot. and having NAT issues on every device/game console. ive gone thru rebooting, factory resetting, and my ports are set up with direct ports to the gaming networks being used such as Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Ive even tried setting up directly to the game server ports such as Call of Duty or Destiny for example

There maybe a FW issue with the router side.

You may need to contact NG support. https://my.netgear.com/support/contact.aspx

The router side is'nt known for good gaming configurations. The uPnP feature should be working as well however may not be. You may need to use the modem portion of the C7100 and connect up a external router that has better gaming handling abilities. I wish the C series had NAT Fiilter however they don't as this would be helpful. NGs R, AX and XR series routers have NAT Filter features which would be helpful if you have two or more game devices or consoles online at the same time.
