Nat Type Restricted PS4

I just got spectrum Internet and decided to get the c7000 so I can directly plug in my PS4 and still have Wifi for other devices. When I connect via wifi I get a nat type 2. When I try to connect directly through LAN i get Nat type 3. I also opened up all ports through DMZ and also tried port forwarding as well and no luck. I just wanted to get a device to have the best direct connection and have no Nat type restrictions. Please advise I feel like i just wasted $200+ dollars.
