needs adapter(s)?

Question

Just bought C6300 - will install next week when WOW is installed in my home.

In the meantime, box says "Use laptop with 3x3 450 Mbps adapter like Centrino 6300/5300 for maximum performance."

Also: "Use with an 802.11ac adapter lie NETGEAR A6200 for maximum performance."

What is this? Do I need adapters in order to use this device?

PS: I use a MacBook laptop.

could it be that you posted in wrong forum because i don't see what this has&nbsp; to do with the arlo cam.
